Why Eyebrow Couture Does Not Offer Threading.
Threading can be a precise form of hair removal and may suit some people, but it is not part of Melanie’s method. At Eyebrow Couture, the service begins with consultation and facial mapping, then uses controlled waxing and tweezing to carry out the agreed design.
Considerations with threading
- It can cause tugging or a burning sensation during treatment.
- Temporary redness, irritation, swelling or breakouts can occur.
- The result still depends on the practitioner’s skill and the design decisions made before hair is removed.
- A hair-removal technique alone does not create an individual restoration or maintenance plan.
Why Melanie chooses mapped shaping, waxing and tweezing
- Your bone structure, eyes, expression and natural growth are assessed before any hair is removed.
- Waxing efficiently clears only the areas identified in the design.
- Tweezers allow individual hairs and the finishing line to be refined carefully.
- The shape can be considered alongside tinting, natural regrowth and longer-term brow goals.
An honest skin note: every hair-removal method can cause short-term sensitivity. Waxing is not suitable for everyone, particularly some clients using retinoids or isotretinoin. Please tell Melanie about relevant medication, active skincare and skin sensitivity before treatment.
